Unofficial Merch

DISCLAIMER: None of this is real, it’s just me having some fun imagining what DRAAKULA merch could look like. No copyright infringement intended, but like, wouldn't this stuff be sick?

"I'd Rather Play Draakula" T-Shirt

Draakula T-shirt mockup
I have limited artwork to work with ok?

Simple black tee, front print of the main character and Draakula title text. "I'd Rather Play" in pixel font. I'd wear the FUCK outta this shit at some overpriced arcade bar for hipsters.

In my perfect world there’d be multiple colorways that I think would look good, but kind of lazy to make them all atm (maybe I'll do it later):

  • Midnight Blue
  • Blood Red
  • Heather Grey

Physical Media Releases

Dude, the cover looks SICK on all these formats. Right?

Ok. Some of these mockups kinda suck, but imagine Draakula on all these different physical media formats?

  • Compact Disc (CD): I toyed with white cases for this and the cassette as it seems to make the dark colors of the background pop more, don't you think?
  • Cassette Tape: IMO seems to be the most appropriate medium for this album, as it fits the time period this game would have existed.
  • HitClips (lol). For fun, I did HitClips, this old ass silly 00s media for kids which could only play 60 second compressed-ass song clips. Something about plugging in a tiny cartridge into a player seemed perfect. If this was real, you'd probably only fit the Draakula Theme on it lol (although according to this homebrewer we are getting closer to higher capacity hitclips)!
  • Small Vinyl Formats: A 7-inch EP could work for the full album, or it could be split across sides. Another fun option would be a 4-inch mini vinyl as a special release. These only fit about a song on each side. It would be sick on the purple or red vinyl variants. Maybe certain songs match up with certain colors?

NES Cartridge

Draakula Physical Media
FUCK ME. If this was a real game, I'd die. This mockup sucks, sorry.

Ok, the grandaddy of it all...like more than just the music, you would get the actual GAME.

  • We get the real thing (hopefully someone someday programs it). A game on original software you can play on the OG NES system.
  • You can play the levels with the ACTUAL music.
  • The label would actually look real (unlike my shit mock up...oopsie).
  • I'd also settle for just a good game label sticker to stick on an actual cartridge and just display it (probably put it on a copy of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - that game blows).

Basically: I'll take a fake cartridge too, but I hope this mock up manifests the real game!
