So, here’s the deal: sometimes you stumble onto a piece of art that gives your brain the equivalent of a rock-hard cack. A switch flips and suddenly you’re like, “Okay. I must now dedicate a large, unreasonable amount of my life to making a website about this.”

I heard the album. I saw the cover art. I read the lore about the Dutch Count and the Dracula/Dragon wordplay, and I felt I needed to make my little old-school shrine on this little corner of the creative web.

And because nobody else had made one yet, and they should know it exists, I thought, “Fiiiiine. I’ll do it myself.”

This site is not nostalgic for the album (since it's not old), but it is nostalgic for fansites — the kind where people built beautiful, weird, hyper-specific websites simply because they loved a thing. So I really enjoyed making it for that reason. And like most people on Neocities, I miss how the internet used to be more like this. *sigh*

Hi, I’m Terry, a guy who heard this album dozens of times and decided to make this website for some reason.

I’m keeping myself semi-anonymous because the internet is too “HERE IS ME AND MY FACE AND MY BRAND” all the time. Fuck the hell off.

When I’m not writing HTML (or making crap merch mockups) I’m listening to chiptunes, playing retro games, and writing wordy ass fantasy where characters constantly recap what they just did for no reason (helps to pad my books when I have nothing of value to write).

• A love letter to the DRAAKULA album, a soon-to-be FAN FAVORITE (but only time will tell).
• A self-imposed title of being “unofficially” the resource for said album and everything about it.
• A place to talk about Draakula and my theories.
• A way to appreciate cool music+art in a fun way that is missing from a lot of modern-day websites.
